4. FUEL TANK A single, permanent, 16-gallon steel-box fuel tank is located in the forward section of the hull under the bow seat. Fuel is filled from a labeled deck fill plate in bow deck and vents to atmosphere accordingly.
Fuel is drawn off the top of the tank where it is routed via concealed copper fuel line to the engine compartment. A flexible section, filter and shut-off valve are provided. The fuel tank is secured by strapping and is electrically grounded to the filler neck. A remote gauge is fitted at the helm console. Comments: Fuel tank and fuel gauge sender unit were recently refurbished and found in serviceable condition. |
